Stoughton Hospital

Stoughton Hospital is an acute care hospital, fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations, licensed by the state of Wisconsin and a member of the Wisconsin Hospital Association and Rural Wisconsin Hospital Cooperative. It is an independent community hospital owned and operated by the Stoughton Hospital Association while also being an affiliate of SSM Healthcare of Wisconsin.

Stoughton Area Emergency Medical Services

Stoughton Area EMS, operating as a volunteer service, is licensed through the State of Wisconsin at the EMT-Intermediate Technician level. Stoughton Area EMS provides a fully equipped and staffed ambulance service twenty-four hours per day, seven days a week. A combination of three Emergency Medical Technicians, or two Emergency Medical Technicians and a Driver, are scheduled on the primary ambulance on a 24/7 rotation to respond to emergency calls.

The area serviced by Stoughton Area EMS is approximately 105 square miles, serving a population of 18,651. In 2012, Stoughton Area EMS responded to 1,414 calls; continuing to have the  highest call volume for a Volunteer EMT-Intermediate Technician Service in Dane County.

Shalom Holistic Health Services

The mission of Shalom Holistic Health Services is to provide quality healthcare to low-income and uninsured/underinsured residents in the Stoughton School District.

Criteria for receiving care at Shalom Holistic Health Services

  • No/limit healthcare insurance
  • Low income
  • A resident of the Stoughton School District
  • Eighteen years of age or older
  • Willingness to be responsible and accountable for care

The focus of Shalom Holistic Health Services is on wellness and disease prevention. The patient learns to help themselves by a means of active participation with their uniquely designed plan for healthcare. Education is the key in helping our patients to become whole.

Skaalen Retirement and Rehabilitation Community

Skaalen is a full-spectrum retirement community providing our residents a complete continuum of care. We are a skilled nursing facility serving 126 guests including a 32-bed memory care environment and an assisted living facility serving 50.

We maintain a State of the Art Rehabilitation Center with one of the areas few warm water therapy pools.

We are also a popular retirement condominium community. On the Skaalen Stoughton Campus, we maintain 164 one-level duplex condominium homes offering support services for independent adults. At our Skaalen Village Campus in nearby McFarland, we maintain 57 additional one-level condominium homes. For residents wanting additional services, but who can still live independently we offer 8 two-bedroom condominiums.

Nazareth Health & Rehabilitation Center

Nazareth Health & Rehabilitation Center, situated in the heart of historic Stoughton. Our facility is located in a beautiful neighborhood of private homes, close to St. Ann’s School and Parish and a wide range of healthcare providers in Madison.

Whether the stay is for short-term recovery or long-term care, we are committed to serving our residents and their families in a way that sets us apart from other care centers or nursing homes.
